If Not Now When?

Claiming our creative power.

This work arrived in response to questions I’d been holding –

Instead of reacting to the crazy in our world with fear, hopelessness and rage, how might we ground ourselves in place and passion, and create a future of our choosing?

How can we harness our moxie hearts, unique voices and creativity to deliver a future we are proud of?

How can we reignite our diverse, honoring, compassionate culture?

The colors, marks, shapes, textures and lines came from this question space. An intuitive process. The abstracted figures, developed in earlier work, have become a symbol for me, of authenticity, sovereignty, power, audacity and courage. The paintings speak of relationship to self, place and other.
